How a booking works
Booking a day in a Tyne and Wear school
The same four steps wherever your school is. Nothing technical is yours to organise.
- 01
Tell us the date and the classes
Send your postcode, the date or half-term you have in mind and how many classes need covering. We come back with availability and a written quote, travel included.
- 02
Pick the workshop
One workshop runs all day, so the whole school shares the same subject. If you are torn between two, tell us the year groups and we will say which travels better across them.
- 03
Paperwork before the visit
Your facilitator's DBS certificate, our risk assessment and public liability documents arrive by email when the booking is confirmed, so nobody has to chase them.
- 04
One class at a time, all day
Sessions run 45 to 60 minutes with up to six in a day, timed around assemblies and lunch sittings. VR sessions use a fully networked class set of headsets.
What your school provides
- A hall or other large clear indoor space, with the chairs stacked back
- Parking close to an accessible entrance for unloading and loading
- A member of school staff in every session, as the class teacher or a teaching assistant
- A standard mains socket and a rough timetable for the day, agreed in advance
